Another great FREE show is happening at Holocene on Thursday, June 9th. Willamette Week presents: Pulse. If you haven’t had a chance to catch rap/hip hop artist The Last Arful, Dodgr, you are in for a treat. Say hi, she’s as friendly as she is talented. 8:30 pm.

DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid are celebrating 3 years of the joyous and ever-crowded Tropitaal at The Goodfoot on Saturday, June 11th! See you there! $5 cover, 9 pm.

Holocene, you are my SPOT lately. The mind-blowing Secret Drum Band is playing there Tuesday, June 14th. $10 cover, 8:30 pm.

Food and Drink

The Portland Fruit Beer Festival is moving to the North Park Blocks this year. Running from June 10th through the 12th, this all-ages event also features notable food vendors so you don’t drink on an empty stomach. General admission packages start at $25, which includes a glass and 12 drink tickets. Buy your admission in advance and get 3 extra drink tickets. Four-ounce pours cost 1 to 3 drink tickets.

Comedy

The Bridgetown Comedy Festival is back! From Wednesday, June 1st through Sunday, June 5th, catch a show at either Doug Fir Lounge or Revolution Hall. Passes are priced at $119 to $275.
